OUR STORY

Four years ago, I began taking fitness more seriously when I realized what a positive impact it had on my mental health. I struggle with anxiety and depression, and fitness has quickly become one of my greatest tools to manage them.

In early 2021, when I was laid off from my position in finance, I found myself at a crossroads. Do I return to a similar role where I was feeling dissatisfied, or do I pursue a passion, and take a risk? And so began the journey of Uplift.

I’ve designed Uplift to be a warm, welcoming, and unintimidating space, with a focus on giving back to local mental health and suicide prevention organizations. Come have a coffee, have a chat, or get a workout in! That’s what Uplift is here for.

It’s ok not to feel ok. You are not alone.
